We will start each session with a demonstration and discussion about the lesson. We will then go into breakout rooms and have one on one help at the easel to go over any questions on anything that pops up during your painting. At the end we will meet as a group and go over everyone’s painting. Create beautiful paintings using soft pastels while working from photographs of landscapes or on your choice of subject matter. Students will express themselves with their own style as we explore composition, gesture, value, mark making, and different under painting techniques.
