Description

Learn the fundamentals of acrylic painting in this comprehensive introduction to the medium. You'll discover how to properly mix colors and apply paint, build layers, apply glazes, create undercoats, and develop accurate sketching skills. Throughout this session, you'll learn painting techniques applicable across many artistic projects. We'll explore both natural paintings capturing landscapes and paintings created from observation with still life subjects. You'll also learn about different painting styles and the various approaches artists use to create compelling work. No previous experience is necessary, though students with existing skills are equally welcome. All supplies are provided.
