Description

What you'll learn in this beginner knitting class:

Join me in making the squishable Rye Socks. Knit in worsted weight, these are the perfect socks for staying warm at home this winter. Knit in your favorite small circumference knitting technique (check out our circular knitting techniques class!) from the cuff to the toe, this class will tackle turning the heel, short rows, picking up stitches, decreases, and kitchener stitch.

Materials: Two skeins of heavy worsted weight yarn, see Class Kits in our Online Shop.

Accessories: US 6 dpn needles (or flexi-flips or 40” for magic loop), stitch marker, darning needle.

Pattern: Rye Socks by Tin can Knits, free on Ravelry.

Kits: Sock Kits are available in our Online Shop under Class Kits.

Refund Policy

Classes: If you have registered for a class and cannot make the date you must notify us 48-hours prior to the start date of the class. Based on availability, you may reschedule your class. If you do not show for a class and do not provide 48-hour notice of cancellation you will be charged a fee up to $25.00 to reschedule

Camps: Full payment and completed registration form is required by the established camp "deadlines". Camp seats are reserved based on availability. Due to the limited number of seats there are no refunds on summer camp sessions, weeks or days. Sister-Arts Studio reserves the right to cancel or substitute weekly camps if less than 50% attendance. If a weekly camp is cancelled by Sister-Arts Studio a refund will be issued only for the week cancelled. Sister-Arts Studio does not offer make-up days for any individual weeks or days missed.
