What you'll learn in this museum class:

As art lovers return to see great works in museum galleries, how can they use the tools provided by those museums to enhance their experience and deepen understanding and enjoyment? With in-person visits to masterpieces and to artworks off the beaten path, we will also explore online resources to discover new ways of connecting to both art and each other.

A leader in educating artists, designers, and scholars since 1866, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) offers nationally accredited degree programs as well as Continuing Studies programs for adults and children, ages 4-18. Considered one of the most influential art and design schools in the world, SAIC has continuing studies programs available to all skill levels. Students develop their creative and critical abilities while working with renowned faculty, utilizing state-of-the-art resources, and visiting the breath-taking galleries at the Art Institute of Chicago.


Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy
FOR ADULTS:
  • 100 percent tuition refund one week prior to first class.
  • No refunds will be issued less that one week prior to first class.
FOR KIDS:
  • 100 percent tuition refund prior to Friday, May 13.
  • 100 percent tuition refund less $100 cancellation fee after May 13 and prior to the second class.
  • No refunds will be issued after the second class has met.
Any requests for exceptions to the cancellation policy as stated above must be submitted in writing and accompanied by the school's refund exception form which will be sent to you by CourseHorse after we receive your request.
