Teaches at Dance Dynamics
Born and raised in the Midwest, Molly Reimer began dancing at the tender age of seven. She trained for over ten years in classical ballet, pointe, tap and jazz under the direction of the late Anne Petersen. During her high school years, Molly also attended various workshops with the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago, IL and The Cecchetti Council of America in Holland, MI where she trained with the incredible Viktor Yeliohim. After graduating, she opened The First Position School of Dance in Clinton, IA. In 1998, Molly made the move to Chicago where she continued her
training with Bea Rashid and Dance Center Evanston. Since moving to the Chicago area fifteen years ago, Molly has choreographed several competition and performance pieces for local dance teams. She has also attended various conventions and worked with renowned choreographers like Paula Morgan, Alison Holker, Nick Zborowski, Nick Bass, Chris Jacobsen, Stacey Tookey, Ray Leeper, Travis Wall, Denise Wall, Anthony Morigerato, Melissa Sandvig, Ade Obayomi, Sonya Tayeh and many others.
Molly has nearly twenty years of teaching experience and has been with our studio for five years. Last season her jazz and tap numbers placed in the top ten overall at several competitions and won many special judges awards as well!! This year she is working with our minis again on her jazz piece “Recipe For Love” and her tap piece “Country Girls.”
She is also excited to be choreographing a jazz number for our youngest, petites team! Molly currently resides in Aurora with her husband and three children.
