Now that you know how to use WordPress's Gutenberg editor to format your content, go under the hood to complete the build-out of your website. This course is the second of two classes providing a comprehensive overview of the WordPress dashboard. Picking up where we left off in the Content Management course, we start with tips on finding, choosing and installing a WordPress theme. You'll learn how to complete your website setup by creating menus and adding widgets to help your users navigate your content.
Next, we'll examine WordPress plugins, how to install them, and how they can add value to your site visitors. Finally, we'll take a look at how WordPress is structured behind the scenes, how to setup and manage user accounts and discuss optimizing the settings for improved usability and security.
Donnie Seigler will present this virtual course in real time with students using Google Meet so you will have an opportunity to get questions answered and get individualized help.
