Enjoyable and informative class. Definitely geared towards those interested in turning a hobby into a business.

This class was fantastic. Melanie was a ball of fire and very knowledgeable. She is very willing to share most of her tips and tricks to help your hobby become more consistent or maybe even a business. She will answer any questions that you may have limiting to proprietary secrets, naturally. Haha. I would continue to take classes with her if she offered more advanced classes in the future. All and all, great class and you won't be disappointed.

I enjoyed this class. We had a small group and Melanie was very thorough with her information. I enjoyed that stressed the important of natural ingredients. She answered all your questions and was willing to share where she has taken fragrance classes at. I’m happy with my candle and cannot wait to burn it.

Melanie is full of passion and enthusiasm about her candle making. Good class for a beginner. I've learned a lot about the craft.

I really enjoyed the class and learned a lot about both buying and making candles. Melanie, the teacher, is clearly super knowledgeable and informed about the industry, and she was very patient in answering the class's many, many, many questions. I enjoyed the way the class was structured and the fact that it was a pretty small group. You will come away from this class knowing how to make your own soy and coconut wax-based candles and what to look for when buying candles.

Small space with a small group which made the class more personal. Melanie greeted me warmly and made me feel right at home. She had donuts and coffee waiting for us as well which was nice of her. The class started on time but we were waiting for another girl to join. Melanie was so understanding of this and made no big deal to go back over the material the person had missed. I am currently making candles myself so I wanted to learn from a pro to make sure I was on the right track. I have almost every piece of material that she makes candles with at home and a good amount of info I was aware of so I felt confident in my current work. I found her very knowledgeable in a lot of areas. Her pouring technique is amazing and I am going to give it a try at home. If this works as well as it did with the ones we made, I’m on the right path to success. She gave me some great ideas for scents and she provided a ton of sites to get more supplies. I’d take her class again
