Description

Much like practicing scales on a musical instrument, this session is dedicated to honing your wheel throwing technique through focused repetition.

This wheel throwing class is built around experimentation, trial and error, and the opportunity for creative discovery. Prior ceramics experience is required. Just as a musician rehearses a piece over and over to improve, this session is designed for practicing on the wheel, learning from previous attempts, and growing alongside your fellow students and instructors.

This 90-minute session is focused entirely on building and refining your skills, and all pieces created during the session are intended to be recycled at the end.

We encourage the practice of letting go! That said, if you would like to keep a piece, a maximum of two items can be fired at $20 per piece. You may select from four available glazes, and the Clay CA staff will handle the firing and glazing for you.

Refund Policy

Please notify us 40 hours in advance so we can coordinate with our teacher to account for material prep time or if there is a waitlist.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
