What you'll learn in this pasta making class:

If you love fresh pasta and want to eat more veggies, this hands-on cooking class is for you. We'll make gnocchi and fettuccine, all of which will feature a colorful vegetable such as spinach, beets, or squash. 

You'll learn to make, roll out, and shape the dough for these two types of pasta, plus participate in preparing a sauce.

Classes are currently being offered in a virtual online format. After registration, we will send a notification with very flexible supplies and equipment list, along with login information. For more information, see below.

System requirements for online learning:

This course will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes take place with a "Live" instructor/chef at the date/times listed. Upon registration, Radical Cooks will send information about how to log-on and participate in the class. We will also provide a list of supplies, ingredients, and equipment to have on hand to follow along throughout the instruction. 

What will be included in my Virtual Class package?

Registration includes an access link to your live, online class. The class will be delivered via web conferencing software (Zoom) and feature a live, professional instructor who will walk you through a lesson as described above. You will have the opportunity to ask questions as well as participate from home and will receive associated recipes with what you've learned.

Will I need anything from home to use in the class?

You will need a reliable Internet connection as well as a computer or device with which you can access your virtual class. We recommend you arrive to class 5-10 minutes early to ensure you're able to set up your device and connection. Additionally, if you'd like to participate, you will need the materials and/or equipment listed in the description above. 

Am I able to ask questions or interact with the class?

Yes, you'll both be able to ask questions using the chat function in the video hosting software as well as at certain intervals during the class via voice/audio. If the class winds up being on the smaller side, more spontaneous interaction/questions will be encouraged. 


Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Refund Policy
You may cancel your registration for a class up to 48 hours in advance of the class start time and receive a full refund or transfer to another class of equal value. 

No refund or exchanges will be given for classes that are canceled less than 48 hours prior to the class. 

Radical Cooks reserves the right to cancel any class that fails to attract requisite minimum enrollment or for chef illness. We will contact you by email or telephone and issue a full refund or you may request to be transferred to another class of your choice (depending on availability).

Is this a “vegan” cooking class or are there eggs and butter involved....I believe there is butter or milk in gnocchi, but I’m not sure. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi Sylvia! The pasta dishes all have egg in them so unfortunately, they are not vegan. They are, however, vegetarian. There is no butter or milk in gnocchi but there is a little bit of egg for the purpose of binding. Hope this helps.
