What you'll learn in this dog training class:
Anyone who has felt a connection with a pet and experienced that joy of unconditional love, understanding, and acceptance, knows the value of a pet’s companionship. These qualities make animals and particularly dogs, ideal therapeutic visitors for patients in hospitals and other facilities. It's amazing to watch a sick or elderly person's face light up in the presence of a therapy dog!
In this 1-day, 3-hour class, you'll meet Rudy, a real-life therapy dog and his handler, instructor Richard. You'll learn all about what it takes to become a therapy dog and how you and your dog can determine if you're a good fit for this type of service. Rudy and Richard will teach you the essentials on how to become certified in the most efficient, fast, and cost-effective way.
Course includes reviewing a video of a handler team evaluation and a list of local facilities recruiting therapy dogs .
Note: Please do not bring your dog to class.

Refund Policy
Class Withdrawal
- If you request to withdraw from a class and the request is received by us 4 business days prior to class start date, a credit voucher valid for three(3) years will be granted, less a $20 processing fee.
Special policy for excursions and special events:
- Refund requests for excursions and special events must be received no later than 11 full business days before the scheduled excursion or event.

Cancellation
If the College cancels a class for any reason, those pre-registered will be notified by phone and email and payment will be refunded. The school also reserve the right to substitute instructors or reschedule class times if necessary.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
