Description
What you'll learn in this lampworking class:
This 8-week introductory course covers the basic fundamental techniques for melting and forming borosilicate glass over a torch. Demonstrations combined with student work-time and individual student-teacher instruction will make up the core curriculum.
This class will focus on working with solid glass rods, beginning with clear glass. Eventually, the students will move onto exploring color application and usage.
Course Goals and Objectives:
- Developing an introductory level of technical proficiency with flame-worker borosilicate glass
- Understanding safe procedures in the glass studio
- Cultivating a stronger vision for your continuing artistic pursu

Note: This provider has a temporary cancellation policy for COVID-19 related cancellations which is as follows:
We are happy to reschedule/transfer tickets anytime before the day of the class.

Original cancellation policy (non-COVID-19):
No Refunds or Transfers will be granted within one week of class.
Enrollment cancellations are not entitled to a refund. Refunds will not be granted for any cancellations, transfers or changes made inside one week from the first day of class, or for withdrawals during class itself. Transfers(made outside of 14 days/2 weeks of class) are subjected to a 20% [of the original ticket price] fee. One Transfer Per Student, Per Class. Transfers may only be made into open classes, additional seats will not be added to full classes for transferred tickets.

The 8 week class has turned into a 4 week class, because of low enrollment. The class is pretty good and the teacher is very knowledgeable and attentive. I wish this class was 8 weeks,but I was given credit towards my next class or studio time.
