I cannot tell you how much this class exceeded my expectations. Olivia is an incredible instructor. So positive and upbeat, makes you feel like you can do anything. Even though it was brand new and a bit difficult at first, I never once thought that I may not have a fantastic finished product at the end of class. And Chris her assistant was lovely. Also very supportive and knowledgeable. Was such a fun three hours. Have already told all my friends about it. Couldn’t do anything to improve the class, in my opinion. Can’t wait to get my supplies and start etching! Thank you!!!!

The Instructor Olivia was great! Her enthusiasm, and encouragement was wonderful. It was my first time working with an Exacto Knife...and that was the hardest part of the class. Trying to make precise cuts was difficult. I also feel that we could have had a bigger table...we were like right on top of each other. I did love the locale though.

This was a really fun class, and the glasses came out really well! Our class instructor Olivia was incredibly nice and helpful; she had lots of pre-made designs to choose from and also helped some attendees create their own. They had yummy little nibbles/snacks and water for us, and though it is BYOB, I don't recommend doing that as you're working with exacto knives for the first hour or two so you probably don't want to drink! (My bf and I brought a bottle of wine but we were so engrossed in making the designs for our glasses that we forgot we had it!) The glasses themselves turned out beautifully; they're perfect for gifts or for a set of your own tumblers. And they're dishwasher-safe! Very fun and very worth it. For potential attendees: Cutting out and creating the designs for the glasses can take a while as you have to them for each of the four glasses. So if you want to bring other glass things to etch as well, I recommend sticking to simple and easy designs for your glasses so you will have time to create and cut out the designs to etch for the glass items you bring as well. One note to CourseHorse: The description for this class on your website says that glass pitchers will also be available to buy and etch at the class studio, but that is no longer the case. So you may want to update that. Attendees can still bring their own glass items to etch though :)

Question from Alison D.
Can we bring food?
Answer from Jenn C. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi! Yes, students are welcome to bring food and drinks to this course! The school recommends, though, to finish proper meals before the workshop starts, and you're welcome to eat it on their premise. We hope you understand food stains and smell can make a less good experience for attendees. Snacking while crafting is no problem!
