What you'll learn in this metal working class:

You are bringing your cube back after all of the new skills you have developed and taking it to the next level.  Note that "How to Make a Cube" class is a prerequisite for this class. 

Including an introduction to TIG welding, where you are filling the pits in your cube from your first Cube Class and then detailing the cube with a high-end finish. Your inside and outside corners will be like nobody's business. 

Skills will concentrate on final sanding, fast corner filing techniques and a blackened patina workshop, with a beautiful Microcrystaline wax finish at the end.

Are materials provided and included in cost of the class? Yes. 

Important things to note: 

  • All you need to bring is something to wear you don't mind getting dirty, preferably jeans or work pants. Do not wear Flannel, sweat pants or Polyester. Close toed shoes required, preferably boots. 
  • All safety equipment, gloves, jackets and auto darkening helmets are provided in this class.

Important:

For Students below 18, a Guardian needs to sign a Waiver on their behalf.

Please allow four days' notice to reschedule a booking. A $45 fee per student will be required to reschedule after this time. There will be no refunds for day of cancellations and no-shows. If you are visibly intoxicated you will not be able to participate in the class.

The Metal Fantasy Camp shows you the gear, gives you the tips and background, and you get to go to town on some metal. It was awesome. Let nothing stop you from taking this class.

Another great experience. Alex was patient, knowledgeable and an all round nice guy. I’ve done MIG and wanted to get my feet wet in TIG, this was the perfect course and instructor for that. Well worth the time investment.
