Description
What you'll learn in this handbuilding class:
During this 8 week session you’ll learn how to create your very own one of a kind ceramic pieces from start to finish.
- Students will receive one 25lb bag of WHITE clay to use during the session. Additional colors available to purchase.
- During this session, Nicole will teach you how to hand build & glaze your pieces.
- This session includes access to tools, studio equipment, aprons, towels, etc.
- Students will have their own shelf area to store their clay & pieces
- BYOB - We will provide tea, coffee and some snacks
- Students will have access to working during open studio hours on Sunday (11am - 5pm) & Wednesday (4pm - 9pm) - studio is subject to closure so please contact the studio before arriving.
- All pieces to be fired would be charged at .04 cents per cubic inch, which includes bisque and glaze fired. Would need to be paid in advance of being fired.
- Once the session is over feel free to keep or donate any clay you haven’t used. We’ll have options for you to continue learning or attending the studio.
- Bring clothing that you are comfortable in as well as okay with getting dirty.
