What you'll learn in this handbuilding class:

This workshop is a hand building course using slabs of porcelain to build functional tableware, mainly tumblers, or cups, perfect for coffee, tea or any other beverage.

In the workshop, we will apply colored clay "slips" to the surface of the cups and create decorative patterns in blue, black, gray and pink.

Workshop participants will make at least 2 plates, 2 bowls, and 4 mugs that will be finished with glaze. The items can be picked up 2 weeks after the workshop.

Fee includes: Clay, tools, aprons, glaze, and firing.

Our workshop is a beginner level class with no previous experience required.

Such a great class, wonderful space and super inviting vibes. Really enjoyed the way that Kevin gave us background on porcelain and some basic understandings and his very encouraging ways! Highly recommend taking!

This was the most unpretentious art class I’ve ever attended and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s a very open and welcoming space and Kevin was great. I highly recommend taking any of the classes here.

Incredibly warm and encouraging space! Plenty of room for creativity. I was genuinely impressed by how willing the instructors were to try to understand the effect students were trying to create and then helping to achieve it. Such a great value -- will 100% be going back for another class and look forward to seeing what type of classes will be offered in the future.
