First, I LOVE my mug - it's a little too big, it's a little too thick to drink from, but i love using it very very much and it brings me a lot of joy! Second, but really part of the first - I love my mug so much because of the experience that i had making it! Eleni is wonderful at explaining technique and supporting each person's interpretation of their creation (and of the technique she is teaching). It was a WONDERFUL way to spend an evening! -

Mold Making and Slip Casting: Pottery Workshop
Nadeige and her assistant Jen were very hands-on, clear, and thorough teachers. I feel like I have a deeper understanding of how to make molds than I even hoped to after a two day workshop. And doing this in a group class (9 people in our session) was enormously helpful, because I got to see how to make molds of a much wider variety of forms than I could have done in any kind of one-on-one setting. I'm really glad I did this, and highly recommend it!
