Description
What you'll learn in this quilting class:
Learn foundation paper piecing while making a block from the fun new Kicks quilt pattern. Perfect for that sneaker loving person in your life! We will work on one block in class, but the pattern includes layouts for quilts in six sizes as well as a pillow, so you can choose to make as many as you like.
Please note: You must pick up the pattern and copy onto foundation paper BEFORE the class. More information and specifics on what to bring will be sent via email once you sign up.
Cutting mats, sewing machines, neutral thread and iron will be provided for use in the classroom.
Required supplies to bring with you (All supplies available for purchase at the school):

- Kicks Quilt Pattern
- 2/3 yd background fabric
- 1 fat quarter for main shoe fabric
- 1/8 yd sole fabric
- 1-4 10″ x 10″ scraps for laces, stripes, lining, etc.
- Foundation paper
- Rotary Cutter and Ruler
- Add-a-Quarter Ruler (optional)
- Seam Roller (optional)
- Sewing Pins
- Seam Ripper
- Fabric Scissors
- Paper Scissors
