Description

What you'll learn in this quilting class:

In this workshop, you will learn all the tips and tricks to easily sew curves using only 3 pins. This class is great if you have been hesitant to sew curves in the past or have tried on your own and struggled.

Each student will leave with the confidence to sew pieced curves on their own and several quarter-circle (or Drunkard's Path) blocks that can be arranged into a myriad of patterns. A die cut machine will be available during class to cut out all of your pieces quickly and easily so you can focus on your curves.

Skill Level: Confident beginner.

Prerequisite: Must know how to use a sewing machine and sew a 1/4" seam.

BERNINA sewing machines, cutting mats, neutral thread, design walls and irons will be provided for use in the classroom.

Required supplies to bring with you (all available for purchase at Gotham Quilts):

1 - 5" Charm pack for circles (or several precut 5" squares)
16 or more 7" squares for background
rotary cutter
6" x 12" ruler (or similar)
pins and/or Wonder Clips
Clover fork Pins
scissors
seam ripper
fabric marking pen or pencil
