While the outward appearance of the school facilities caught me off-guard, the machines and materials used in the class were great and the teacher was super friendly. They were incredibly patient and let me do a more sophisticated product than what I signed up for-- Dani, the instructor, let me experiment with zig zag stitches, reinforced handles, and pockets. The class takes an hour less than listed but they want to give everyone, even the perfectionists and slowest learners, time to perfect their product.

He taught us how to sew like a garment factory.

The instructor sent a text the evening before the class and canceled it because there weren't enough students enrolled. And then asked me to reschedule for another Saturday. Strangely CourseHorse sent an email out the same evening announcing there were still 5 seats left in the class! So how many students does the course need to meet then? To give up a summer Saturday to attend a class like this was a sacrifice and a now a total loss. To reschedule another Saturday in hope it will happen is not an option. I want my money back.

Wonderful tutor. I enjoyed every minute of it. I was worried I wouldn’t follow the instructions but he explained everything beautifully. I feel confident to use a sewing machine now. 5 ⭐️

The class was okay. I felt a little bit like the teacher was bored to be teaching us and just wanted us to finish as soon as possible so that he could have a longer break between his classes.

Daniel was very nice, and let me stay a few minutes extra to finish my bag. If you don't bring your own fabric, they will provide you with fabric. You don't need an entire yard.

Terrific if you are looking for the basics. Danny, our teacher encouraged us to do things repeatedly so as to master them. He was encouraging, funny and very supportive. Might even take it again, as I am a slow learner. The project was appropriate and we all went home with a cute little tote bag.

I took Daniel's class this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed his teaching style. I liked that he kept us engaged and did the 'musical' chairs on different seats. His use of layman's terms made it so easy for me to remember the sewing basics. He gave practical information that we can use for life! - Princess
