Learn how to make a cute, custom rug for your home in this beginner-friendly, virtual workshop hosted via Zoom!
Led by instructor Molly George, you'll learn how to transform strips of fabric into stylish home decor using beginner crochet skills. No previous crochet experience is required!
This workshop will cover:
The materials required for this project are simple-- all you need is fabric and a 15mm crochet hook! You can purchase a crochet hook here! Please be sure to place your order at least 4 days ahead of the workshop to ensure it will ship to you in time. Feel free to reach out if you have questions.
Students are encouraged to use discarded clothing, bedding, or sewing scraps for this project! Medium weight woven fabrics work best for this project, but t-shirts and other knits that are not too thin or stretchy also work great. Feel free to bring a variety of items and the instructor will help you pick out what will work best!
Fabric quantities required will vary depending on the desired size of your rug; approximately 5-6 yards of fabric will make a 2-foot rug.
We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.
In fairness to all of our customers, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
