What you'll learn in this pastry class:

We will be cooking and baking French traditional pastry. From Profiteroles to Creamy Lemon Tart. Learn French baking recipes!

Discover and share seasonal French pastries. Menu will change from class to class, rotating between 2 or 3 traditional french pastry recipes.

Students will take home what they made.

Class schedule:

Thursday March 1: Mille-Feuille (Napoleon)
Wednesday March 7: Chocolate Fondant, Ice Cream
Thursday March 22: Creme Brulee, Chocolate Mousse, Madeleine
Friday April 20: Eclair & Cream Puff
Wednesday May 2: Chocolate Fondant, Ice Cream
Sunday May 6: French Tarts (Chocolate/Lemon & Fruit)
Sunday June 10: Mille-Feuille (Napoleon)

Note: We need 4 people to host the class and if this number have not been reach will have to cancel the class.

We were VERY VERY disappointed. This wasn't a cooking course, but rather a non-participating observer class. There wasn't equipment for anyone but the chef to bake, way too many people for the kitchen size. The very very basic of offering people water in a 2-hour course didn't exist. We were very disappointed in the course itself, but also in Course Horse for how it was falsely presented.

I liked the class a lot, because the instructor chef was very good. He is very well prepared and it's easy to see that he has a lot of experience. He is a kind, patient person, that explains things very clearly and dominates the techniques. The results of what we did were great! I would definitely take another class! I also think that the kitchen where we took the class was very well equipped and everything was ready for the class.
