What you'll learn in this indian cooking class:

Indian food can often be spicy, but that does not necessarily make them hot. There are literally thousands of dishes- both vegetarian and non-vegetarian - that are totally mild. They are mild, any American or European can taste them, and savor them.

We invite you to bring a notebook, so you can take all the secrets back home with you and delight yourself and those you love.

  • Coastal Shrimp Curry (Shrimp with coconut, cooked with aromatic Indian spices
  • Kashmiri lamb Kabob (Minced lamb with marinated masala)
  • Mung Lentil curry (Small mung lentil cooked with peas and coconut)
  • Dahi Okra (Okra cooked with onion, ginger and yogurt masala)
  • Pulao (Basmati rice with carrots, peas, onion and cashews)
What you will get:
  • Tips and tricks about the spices that you will be using, you will be cooking too
  • Friendship, fun and delicious food (complete dinner)
  • I will teach you the nuances and secrets, where to get the masalas and how to keep the aroma intact.
  • You get the printed recipe of the dishes.
It is so much fun to make them and even better to taste. Let's all have fun together:-)

There's a minimum of 3 students for a class to run. If the minimum is not met, Mukti will personally reach out to reschedule via phone or email.

Refund Policy
We are sorry that we cannot issue refunds for classes, but you may send someone in your place or choose another class if you cannot make it for any reason. We do require at least 48 hours of notice for us to provide credit for another class, otherwise we are left with an empty spot and not enough time to refill it off the waiting list. 

If we don't get three or more students, we will reschedule the class for another day and we will communicate with you via phone and email. If the class gets canceled for any reason we will let you know in advance. 

For snowy days, please contact us and we will let you know if the class is still being held. Thank you for understanding and cooperation.

Important: Please note that all classes are non-refundable and class cancellations made by the school and students alike are covered in the above policy.

I was I informed that I was going to learn how to cook lamb and shrimp and it turn that is was a began class, I thought that it was three students and we were ten any way I brought the spice box and I got the recepy for the vegan food. She is very nice lady.

My first cooking class and it was the best. Mrs. Mukti is a very passionate cook and I am so glad that I was in her class with other nice people. Thanks for all kind explanations(and secret recipes) and great conversations.

Mukti is a very gracious host and teacher. The menu was obviously thoughtfully organized so we could get the most instruction in the time allowed. Mukti is full of information that she shares freely. I learned a great deal and had good time.

Mukti was wonderful! She made a very concerted effort to make sure that each of her 4 students were not only learning what they signed up for, but also having a good time. Would absolutely recommend the class to anyone!

Mukti is a very talented cook. Although I found it a little difficult to follow as I am not accustomed to the spices and style of cooking, Mukti did a wonderful job complete with handouts and email follow up. I feel that i can contact her with any questions when I try my hand at cooking this style. I think the best part was that I learned many techniques that I can apply to all of my cooking. Some dishes are spicy but you can adjust that when you make your own.
