What you'll learn in this vietnamese cooking class:

This class is all about balancing salty, sweet, and funky to make some of the most crave-able Vietnamese dishes. Plus: the least stressful, most crowd-pleasing, ugly-delicious dessert you've probably never heard of.

Menu includes:

  • Summer Rolls
  • Hoisin Peanut Sauce & Nuoc Cham Sauce
  • Coconut Caramel Chicken
  • Che Choi (dessert)

Ingredients Needed: (exact amounts to follow in confirmation email)

  • Fresh Veggies (cucumber, carrot, radish) 
  • Herbs (mint, cilantro, scallion)
  • Optional tofu/chicken/shrimp
  • Hoisin
  • Peanuts/butter
  • Lime
  • Garlic
  • Fish sauce
  • Chili/hot sauce
  • Vinegar
  • Rice paper
  • Vermicelli noodles
  • Chicken
  • Coconut water
  • Ginger
  • Sugar
  • Chilis
  • Ginger shallot
  • Tapioca or rice
  • Banana
  • Coconut milk 

Tools Needed:

  • Knife & cutting board
  • Pot/slow cooker/rice cooker
  • Skillet or large sautee pan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Whisk

***We are stressing Substitutions & Modifications in this class! Most of what you already have, like, & is available can be swapped or added in to the recipes. This class is interactive & we will help you make those substitutions & modifications!

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

The instructor was super fun and knowledgeable! The class was structured in a nice way where we worked in two groups on our collective meal, so it was easy to socialize with everyone. We would definitely do another class at The Brooklyn Kitchen again!
