Wildlife Camp Online gives your kid opportunities to:
Animal Olympics
Cheetahs can sprint at 70 miles an hour and a pronghorn antelope does a marathon run in about 20 minutes. Campers will explore amazing animal Olympic feats through explorations of our animals and test their own abilities. Each day campers will explore runners, jumpers, and weight-lifters through virtual exhibit visits, movement, games and exciting animal encounters.
Animals & Art
Bring out the artist in your camper, through this special exploration of animals. Using virtual exhibit visits, animal demonstrations, stories and more each day, your child will be encouraged to draw, paint, write or share whatever hidden talent they have, as they learn about the animal world.
Supplies:
We will mail and email each family a packet of printed materials. We will also include a modest list of supplies in the camp confirmation documents. These will mainly be common craft materials such as glue, scissors, tape, etc.
Tech requirements:
The tech requirements include: computer or tablet with access to the internet, as well as a working microphone and camera. Our primary platforms for Wildlife Camp Online will be Padlet and Zoom. We may also use other interactive web resources such as Flipgrid, Kahoot, and others. We will also embed links to specific activities and videos in our camp Padlet so that activities will be in one place. We will send registrants access codes prior to the start of camp, as well as a quick parent tech tutorial to provide extra support to those that need it.
There will be no refunds for withdrawals from programs made less than 5 weeks prior to the course date. All cancellation requests must be made in writing by email.
