Description
What you'll learn in this kids leadership class:
The Leadership Development Program is designed to split the time between learning how to become effective leaders and counselors, as well as spend time as a senior camper. Participants will learn skills for working in and with small groups of campers and some tricks of the trade, such as games, songs and activities, all of which will start their personal portfolio of skills. Participants will learn how to interview as well as develop a strong resume.
Participants will have the skills to become a lifeguard, work at Bank Street Summer Camp, or a different camp, and translate their new skill set into other jobs or other positions of responsibility. At the end of the course they will receive a certificate of completion as well as an evaluation.
Participants must attend all 4 weeks unless previously accepted with a separate arrangement.
Note: This summer we are fortunate to be using space at the Columbia Kraft Center at 115th St.

Changes must be submitted in writing to CourseHorse, [email protected], no later than 6 business days preceding the first class meeting date and are subject to a $15 fee. No withdrawals, refunds, or transfer requests will be accepted after that time.

If a course is cancelled by the College for any reason, students may transfer to another course or receive a full refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee. the College reserves the right to cancel any course for which there is insufficient enrollment and to withdraw or modify course offerings. Course locations, fees, and instructors may also be changed when necessary.
