What you'll learn in this kids technology class:

This course is a study of the basic assembly, maintenance, and repair of computer systems. Students will disassemble a computer and learn to identify each component and its function. Students will learn how to select parts for a computer build, then assemble and test a desktop computer. 

In addition to learning how all the components work students will learn about circuitry, learn basics of software such as BIOS, the operating system and drivers and understand how to benchmark, troubleshoot and upgrade computer parts and what it would take to build their own gaming computer.

Daily Schedule
  • 9-9:30 drop off & activities
  • 9:30-10 circle time/discussion topics
  • 10-10:20 snack time
  • 10:20-12 coding / learning
  • 12-12:30 Lunch
  • 12:30-1:30 outside time (weather dependent)
  • 1:30-3pm coding/learning
