German Intermediate

This Level 3 course is for people who recently completed our advanced beginner course or are familiar with the basics of German grammar including the present and past tenses, the accusative and dative cases, negation, various verb forms, and the use of prepositions and possessive pronouns.

We'll focus on advanced German grammar including:

• adjective endings
• conjunctions
• comparatives and superlatives
• two-way prepositions

Classes will also include pair work and conversation practice related to real-life situations such as shopping and traveling. Each student will also be expected to give at least one five-minute presentation, on a topic of their choosing, before the end of the course.

Note: The beginner, advanced beginner and intermediate courses follow the same textbook (not included in the course price but available to students for the discounted price of around $18).

THIS IS AN IN-PERSON CLASS.

• All students must be fully vaccinated and show proof of vaccination before their first lesson.
• Class size has been reduced to 10 students maximum.
• Face masks are not required.
• Our classroom is equipped with an air purifier with HEPA filter, hand sanitizer, and disinfected wipes.
