Course Format: The American Heart Association (AHA) offers a blended option for the Heartsaver First Aid Course. All students must complete an online part first called "Heartsaver® First Aid Online", which involves the lecture part of the course and it must be completed online by the student on the American Heart Association Website. Then the student must complete a skills practice and testing which is completed at a physical location with an AHA instructor in a traditional classroom setting.
General information: This course covers common medical and trauma emergencies as well as environmental emergencies such as frostbite and heat. Length of class is approximately 3.5 Hours.
Students Receive: A digital Heartsaver First Aid Manual and an American Heart Association certification card (valid for 2 years).
Audience: Teachers, Coaches, Fitness pros, Daycare providers, Parents, Camp counselors, Construction, Daycare and Nursery Schools, and other caring citizens.
