What you'll learn in this tour class:

Come Save Grand Central Terminal! Learn how in the 70’s an organization wanted to destroy Grand Central Terminal and put in a boring old office building (futuristic 70’s style - gross). Jackie Kennedy Onassis heard about this tragedy, wrote a single letter, gave a single speech called “Save Grand Central Terminal”, and the Terminal was saved.

Flash Forward to today… Grand Central is under threat again. You’ve been recruited by Museum Hack Special forces and, with the help of Jackie Kennedy’s ghost you will need to crack the clues to save Grand Central. Best of all capture great moments along the way using Fujifilm Instax Share printers and instant photo film.

Important notes:
  • Please arrive 15 minutes early to meet your guide! Traffic gets crazy in the city and the subway is unpredictable – remember to leave time for unexpected New York nonsense!
  • Please meet your guide inside Graybar passage on Lexington Ave between 43rd and 44th. Your guide will be inside Grand Central Terminal across from the shoe shine station and next to the Verizon store. Your guide will be wearing a Museum Hack name badge.
  • Before you arrive at Grand Central, please download the FujiFilm Instax Share app to your phone. We will be using it during the Scavenger Hunt, so please make sure that at least one person in your group has this app downloaded. This is super important since cell service in Grand Central isn't great! Download the app in Google Playstore or in Apple iTunes.
  • We recommend wearing comfy shoes as you will be on your feet during most of the hunt.
