What you'll learn in this museum tour:
This class will explore the Metropolitan Museum’s newly remodeled Art of the Arab Lands Galleries. We’ll experience the intricate patterns and twirling arabesques of Moroccan courtyards, Persian textiles, and Iranian mosaics. Finally, we’ll see how all of these colorful geometric designs inspired European painters like Eugene Delacroix and Henri Matisse.
