This class builds on the skills in Level 2 by layering more complicated improv techniques onto fearless play.
Techniques like authentically grounding your characters so they feel believable or using curve balls to keep scenes surprising. We’ll explore the dynamics that make up three-person and group scenes, and learn to stay out of our heads while balancing it all. Students will learn how to be versatile ensemble players who can build long-form pieces organically while keeping the show and audience's experience in mind. This class isn’t just about learning technical skills, it will also teach you to own what makes you unique as a performer by exploring the areas you shy away from through personal notes and challenges.
This class culminates in a performance for the public.
Prerequisite: BCC Level 2 “Free Your Mind.”
Class payments are non-refundable.
In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.
In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
