What you'll learn in this interior design course:

Always a resource for up-to-the-minute design trends, the Decoration and Design Building, 979 Third Avenue “The D+D” has a less well-known trove of historically documented textiles and wallcoverings. Showrooms like Brunschwig et Fils and Pierre Frey hold thousands of examples of rich antique designs that continue to influence what interior designers use today. Other resources hold mid-century and modernist archives full of designs that remain fresh.

You'll be guided through some of the hidden gems of “The D+D” and gain knowledge that can give your interiors exciting inspiration and creative range. Attendees meet in the main lobby of “The D+D” at the concierge desk, 15 minutes before the course is scheduled to begin.
