What you'll learn in this digital marketing course:

Registration for this class will close 2 hours prior to the session start in order to allow all students ample opportunity to have the technology enabled.

The digital landscape is moving at lightning speed. Every industry has been affected by the advances in digital—from retail to brands and agencies. Has your manager recently assigned a digital marketing role to you? Are you a project or account manager at a creative agency? Do you work for a small company or a start-up, and handle all things digital on your own? Then this bootcamp may be just what you need! Specifically created for participants and professionals interested in gaining a deeper understanding of everything digital marketing can encompass.

This activity-driven class will equip you with tips and strategies on how to devise your brand and marketing strategy, what digital channels are available to you and how to use them, and how to track and analyze all of your marketing efforts with data-driven decisions.

Preparation

  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • Project/company that you want to focus on during the exercises portion
  • This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
  • Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.

Hi Kim! If you need a certificate of completion for your employer, you can email to [email protected] after the class has completed, and their producers will send a verification. They will just need you to include the class name, date, and location (city).

The class was very good - worth the time and money. I walked away having more than a topline understanding of the topic and it left me knowing where I need to delve deeper. Sal, the instructor, was excellent. He had the room's full attention with his dynamic teaching style and professional experience in digital marketing. I would probably be swayed to take another class at General Assembly if he's teaching it.

Salim is an awesome instructor. Really engaged with everyone in the class and answered any questions we had without making us feel stupid. He tailored the material to what we were all seeking to learn more about, which was also great. I definitely recommend him as an instructor, and this class is great for anyone who wants to dip their toes into the world of digital marketing (or for people who are already in the industry but want to expand their breadth of knowledge). The class goes by super quickly for 7 hours, and I even walked out with some new acquaintances!
