I thought it was a very insightful class. A lot was packed into 2 hours. The class did go over by around 15min and there was question and answer after that. I wish I would have know ahead of time that the session was going to go over the alotted class time. I could have planned accordingly to be able to fully partisapted past the advertised class end time.

It was suuuper focused on this concept of neutral facilitation, not confident leadership in other forms. I think this would be a good course if you specifically want to learn how to lead focus groups or debates that you're externally hired to facilitate. When I signed up, I was hoping to apply it to leading trainings and meetings but that wasn't what it's about so I was ultimately disappointed. The instructor was charming and qualified though.

I loved this class! Super valuable for those who are planning and hosting meetings and workshops. I took away many helpful tips. The instructor is fantastic. One note for logistics: this venue is in a pretty hard to access location- no nearby subway, and a pretty desolate location at night. When you're hosting workshops that get out after dark, most of which people are attending alone and don't know anyone else in the class, I would have found it very helpful for the instructor to make note of that at the end and say "hey, this can be a pretty hard area to orient yourself from at night- we recommend ordering a cab before you leave the building if you can" or "hey, this is exactly how you get to the subway, it gets pretty quiet in this area so maybe we could coordinate a group to all walk there together if you like." Even as a native New Yorker, leaving here alone at night and trying to find the subway amongst the many construction reroutes happening was for sure one of my top 3 "I don't feel safe in New York" moments. I think this could be a pretty easy solve if you ask your instructors to make note of that at the end of the course!
