What you'll learn in this social media class:

Capture your audiences on social media by gaining a key understanding of the differences across all social platforms and how to best use each. In this workshop we’ll discuss audience types, engagement rates, content strategy, social media mapping, and other key factors to making your platforms stand out from the crowd.

Takeaways

You’ll walk away with free resources, knowledge on how to design and obtain high-quality content, and ideas for how and when to post organically and implement a paid ad strategy to best promote your cause. This workshop is perfect for anyone who works in nonprofits, mission-driven businesses, or who wants to add a socially conscious lens to their digital footprint.

Preparation

  • You will need access to a laptop or computer with a working webcam and microphone as well as a strong internet connection.
  • This course will occur completely online using Zoom and Slack.
  • Course set up information will be emailed to all students signed up around 24 hours before (and again an hour before) your course launches.

Due to the current health concerns, all GA short-form events, workshops & bootcamps will temporarily be held online - including this one.

Registered students will be notified 24 hours in advance of this program with information on how to log in to the Zoom Meeting Room and other tools you’ll need for the session. Registration for this class will close 2 hours prior to the session start in order to allow all students ample opportunity to have the technology enabled.


Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.
