Course Format: The American Red Cross (ARC) offers a blended option for the Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED. The Blended learning course (half online / half in class) has three parts. This course format can be used for original or renewal students.
Part 1 is completed online by the student and covers the lecture and written test part of the course. It must be completed online by the student on the American Red Cross Website BEFORE THE SKILLS CLASS. The access link to online course will be provided in the confirmation email after registration.
Parts 2 & 3 (Practice and Skills Test) must be completed at a physical location with an ARC instructor in a traditional classroom setting (skills session).
General Course Information: The Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults and pediatric. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED valid for two years.
Students Receive: An ARC digital student Manual and an American Red Cross course completion card (valid for 2 years).
Audience: Teachers, Coaches, Fitness pros, Daycare providers, Parents, Camp counselors, Construction, Daycare and Nursery Schools, and other caring citizens.
