What you'll learn in this medical training:

This course will prepare individuals for entry-level positions as a Patient Care Technician

The program builds on the basic skills of a nursing assistant. The program reinforces basic personal care to patients from the emergency room to the different units of a health care facility. Additional skills are learning ECK/EKG, assisting nurses with sterile procedures, performing simple dressing’s changes, drawing bolos for laboratory tests, and bedside testing of specimens.

Course Includes:
  • EKG Technician
  • Phlebotomy Technician 
  • Nursing skills 
Pre-requisite: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent or ABLE Test & CNA Certification

Note: All the Programs does NOT include Book & Uniform. The student will have to buy the book themselves either online or onsite store. ISBN No & Book name will be given to the students. Non-Refundable Registration Fee included.

Do we take a national certification exam at the end?

Hi there! Upon graduation from the PCT program, the student will have to take the National Certification exam for PCT. Access Careers provides onsite Testing for all the exams so the student doesn't need to go outside to take any exam.
