What you'll learn in this excel class:

The bootcamp is designed to provide students with a general overview of Excel topics and specifically more knowledge of several different functions. It combines most of the material from the two workshops into an intense one-day session. Given the short timeframe and large amount of topics covered, students are expected to be able to learn quickly. The bootcamp is designed for students who can pick up material quickly and are looking to go from relatively little knowledge of Excel to being able to achieve complex tasks in just one day.

Prerequisites & Preparation: A laptop loaded with Excel, and a general familiarity with the program. You will also want to set up a Gmail account as we may jump in and out of Google Spreadsheets during the workshop.

Remote Learning

This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.

Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.

Hey! I do not have excel on my personal computer but my company uses excel in google. Does that work?

Hey Heather! Students are required to have the excel program on the computer to make their learning experience better. One can only use spreadsheets, but the learning experience would probably be unsatisfactory. You will also want to set up a Gmail account as we may jump in and out of Google Spreadsheets during the workshop. It is also recommended (but not required) that you bring a mouse as if may make some exercises easier.

Felt the class was well structured and perfect for beginners and those with basic experience like myself. Teacher (Nigel Caldon) was AMAZING! He was very real, personable, made everyone feel comfortable and taught material in a simple way that was easy to understand. Really enjoyed his class and felt I got a lot out of it. Thanks!

Good class, instructor knew a lot of info but went a lil fast for someone who is a beginner like me. Would prefer smaller classes but still learned a lot.

Melissa Guller was extremely professional, articulate and caring. She walked us through every step and then some in order to make us skilled at Excel by the end of the course. She made sure to answer any and all questions at a smart pace and never made anyone feel inadequate.
