WareWares is a furniture/sculpture fabrication studio. In addition to the commissioned work that is fabricated in the space, workshops are offered to anyone interested in learning the "making" process. The primary objective or goals of WereWares workshops is to enrich peoples lives with the pleasure of object making. WareWares studio practice is based on the fact that everyone has the ability to be a maker and thinker, and learning how to do so is one of the most rewarding events one can experience.
Students who have taken classes at WereWares have had positive experiences and have learned valuable skills. The classes are tailored to individual needs and interests, with the instructor reaching out beforehand to create a personalized plan. Students have learned techniques such as sharpening tools, using a bowl gauge, and other aspects of woodturning.
