I graduated from Cornell University with a degree in biology. After college, I taught middle school science before moving to New York City to pursue dance and choreography. To support my dance career, I've worked for eight years as a medical editor, and three years ago I began teaching it as a favor to friends. Inspired by the class's popularity, I've recently begun to offer classes in advanced editing, grammar, and MLA and Chicago style. Teaching editing is now my career, and my passion.
I am partially disabled from a dance injury, and I'm currently training in the Alexander Technique and Zen practice to help others living with pain and difficulty. I grew up in San Diego, California, and I've been living in Brooklyn for the past decade.
