Sarah Marsh

Teaches at Baruch College - CAPS

Sarah Marsh is a practicing architect and interior designer as a principal in The MAAI Group - Architecture and Interiors. She teaches and participates in design juries at esteemed schools of design and construction in New York City.

She discovered her love of building design at an early age by building, designing and painting on whatever material she could use, from Legos to school walls. Finishing architecture school in England, she moved to the U.S. to pursue a career in big city design, and never left. Along the way, Sarah painted and sold architectural watercolors, with a feature in the New York Times Home Section on her work. She has worked for major architectural firms including Skidmore, Owings and Merrill Architects, Peter Marino & Associates, and recently for Goldman Sachs & Co as the Interiors Project Manager for 30 Hudson, a LEED “Green” rated 40-story office building in Jersey City.

Sarah lives and works in Manhattan with her family, and is involved with the upkeep and renovation of two major churches there, one on a pro-bono basis, in an effort to uphold her commitment to giving back to the community. She received her Bachelor of Architecture, Dip. Arch at Kingston School of Architecture, Kingston University, near London, UK.
