It's hard to teach 8 people with a wide array of skill levels in one class. As someone with prior knitting experience, coming for a refresher, as were several other class members, I was in a very different learning space than the true raw beginners. I would encourage Lion Brand to think about offering different courses, true beginner (Knitting for Dummies, people who don't know a knit from pearl, what a gauge is, etc.) to those who want to brush up or refresh their skills, and have some command of the basics. The instructor was generous, knowledgeable, and patient, but she's being asked to accomplish almost the impossible. I would not recommend this course to a true beginner.

I thought this class was really helpful and after Knitting 1 I was ready for this class. It didnt move to fast, you could go at your own pace. The teacher was very helpful.
