An avid craft beer lover, Eric’s passion for the liquid began in 2006 with an apprentice position at a small brewpub outside of Philadelphia. From a full-time brewer position at Rock Bottom Brewery, to researching and writing as the content developer for the Craft Beer App, to helping open and manage Top Hops Beer Shop. His recent advancement in beer led him to a sales position at Sixpoint brewery and also added the title of
Certified Cicerone. Beer encompasses so many areas of our culture and life, from the raw ingredients and their sources, to the science and art of Brewing, and to everyone who enjoys a cold pint at the end of the day. Come drink a beer with Eric, and let's see what life's about.

Virtual Tasting: Beers Around the Virtual World

Eric’s Virtual Beers Around the World class was awesome. For starters, he picked an awesome variety of beers. I drink a lot of beer, visit a lot of breweries and beer shops, but it was great to be (re-)introduced to some styles that are easy to forget and appreciate when you lean towards IPAs and there are so many to try these days. The beers were great and he also had good reason to choose each, so the background story on each was informative. And of course, he found a way to fit my juicy IPA preferences into the mix. Judging by my girlfriend’s experience, the class is great for the non-beer enthusiast as well. Looking forward to doing another class tailored to other beer interests with Eric and some friends who are into beer.

Vermont Beer: The Real Story

Really great class! Our instructor was incredibly knowledgeable and the beer selections were really tasty, diverse and interesting. The ONLY reason why I'm knocking off a star is because the time is just way too early for so much beer without any food. I think if continuing with a morning class, it needs to be paired with a meal. Otherwise, I suggest moving it to a later time. But honestly, we had a lot of fun, learned a lot, enjoyed all the flavors, and bought more delicious beer to take home. Great class!

Awesome class. Eric was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any question you tossed his way. Small class format was great as well.
