Teaches at Top Hops Beer Shop

Joel Ford is the assistant brewer at the acclaimed Threes Brewing in Brooklyn. He has a great passion for beer which he gained while living in places with great beer culture such as Minnesota, Michigan, North Carolina, and most recently Vermont. Since diving into home brewing in 2007 he has made over 200 different beers including numerous commercial examples.

Incredible learning experience. Highly recommend for even the moderate sour drinker (and anyone remotely interested). We explored beers and techniques from all over the world. It was great.

The sours class was great! We were able to taste more than a half a dozen beers and even a cider. It was delicious if you are interested in learning more and tasting more sour beers.
