Danielle Hutton is a New York City-based belly dance performer, instructor, and choreographer. Known for her stage presence and musicality, Danielle approaches her dance as an intimate conversation with her audience. She was always drawn to dance and movement, but it wasn’t until she first saw a performance at the age of 17 that compelled her to study Egyptian style, and eventually, tribal fusion belly dance. In addition to being a solo performer, Danielle was a principal dancer in Solstice Dance Ensemble from 2008-2010, where she had the opportunity to perform at various belly dance events such as Tribal Fest, Tribal Massive, Rakkasah East and Spring Caravan. 

As a solo artist, she performed at the American History of Belly Dancers of Color and played the Mother Goddess in PURE Reflections. Danielle draws her inspiration from free form dance and contact improvisation in addition to classical belly dance to create her distinct style of fusion belly dance. She credits Reyna Alcala, Sera Solstice, Zoe Jakes, Olivia Kissel, and Heather Stants for guiding and inspiring her as teachers and artists.
In addition to teaching dance, Danielle is a certified 200-hr yoga instructor.
