Jes Fan was born in Canada, raised in China, and based in New York City. Highly influenced by her transcultural upbringing, she uses glass to locate the identity of indeterminacy. Jes earned a BFA in Glass from Rhode Island School of Design, 2014. Since then, she has further pursued her interest in studying at craft programs such as Pilchuck Glass School, Corning Museum of Glass and Haystack. She has received a CCGA Fellowship at Wheaton Arts Village. Her work is exhibited in New York, Toronto and Hong Kong.
