Karen Christie-Ward

Teaches at Actors Connection New York

A native New Yorker, Karen's first love was theater. She has appeared at the McCarter Theater and the Kennedy Center in "Mrs. Packard" directed by Emily Mann, "Tales from the Oven" directed by Jim Gaffigan, Anna Christie directed by Robert Kalfin, founder of the Chelsea Theater Company, Othello at Aaron Davis hall, The Keeper at The Public Theater and Broadcast on WBAI and "The Sun Shines East" directed by Pat Golden. Through her work with Making Light Productions, she was awarded "Best Supporting actress in a One Act Play" by Spotlight On Productions. 

Karen's television credits include: Sister Ida in several episodes of Law and Order SVU, and the diabolical Nurse Charles in One Life to Live. She has had supporting roles in Millenium Pictures' "The Son Of No One" and in "Forged" by Revere Pictures. She is looking forward to appearing in "Speaking to The Dead" at The Theater Lab in June and will be seen in season 2 of "Difficult People".
