Teaches at brunchwork

Alex Rainert

Alex has spent the past 19 years building teams and shipping products in a variety of creative and business environments — digital agencies, startups and large tech companies.

He co-founded a mobile + social app called dodgeball (acquired by Google in 2005); built and led the product team at Foursquare for four years as the company went from 15 to 150 people; and led design and product for two hardware companies in NYC - one in the health and fitness space and one in the smarthome space.

He received a master’s degree from NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program where his work centered on mobile and social product design. In 2012 he was named to Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business list.

Alex is now Head of Product & Design at The New York Times, helping readers understand the world around them by connecting them to journalism worth paying through world class digital products.

Jeremy Horn

Jeremy Horn is an award-winning, product management veteran with 2 decades of experience leading and managing product teams. As founder of The Product Group, he has created the largest product management meetup in the world and hosts the annual awarding of The Best Product Person.

Accelerating the next evolution of product management, Jeremy acted as creator and instructor of the 10-week product management course at General Assembly and The New School, and mentoring at Women 2.0 and Lean Startup Machine (where is he also a judge).
