Deirdre Kinahan is one of Ireland's most celebrated playwrights; her recent plays These Halcyon Days, Bogboy (both seen at IAC), Moment and Hue and Cry have won awards in Edinburgh and New York. She is an exceptional storyteller, shining a light on the dark corners of contemporary Ireland and creating beautifully truthful characters that live long in memory.
