Barbara Hodgson

Barbara Hodgson is a communications specialist in public relations, communications, a published author and featured speaker. She has been influential in the city of Los Angeles, has built corporate campaigns for Kellogg’s and implemented communication efforts for Helen Keller Worldwide. Hodgson was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Mayor James K. Hahn, City of Los Angeles and served on the Advisory Board of the Desmond Tutu Peace Centre, Cape Town, South Africa. A featured speaker at the American Society on Aging, the Annual Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Conference and the California Business Incubator Network (CBIN) Conference, Hodgson moreover has written numerous magazine and newsletter articles and been published in the book, Wisdom of the East. Hodgson received an M.A. in communications from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
